what is your professional background?

I worked with Tribal casinos for nearly 20 years in various supervisory and management positions before going back to school. While in school, I worked part-time with another Native American focused nonprofit organization that allowed me the flexibility to focus on school - I really enjoyed learning about nonprofits so I changed up my academic focus and long term career goals. Working with NĀTIFS is the beginning of a new phase in career reinvention for myself.
What does your typical workday at NATIFS involve?

Furiously emailing people, from start to finish - while simultaneously playing a dual game of Tetris-Sudoku, aka Sean’s calendar.
When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

When I was far too young I read “The Monkey’s Paw” by W.W. Jacobs, on top of that I listened to an abundance of John Lennon music, so all I ever wanted to be was happy.
