what is your professional background?

My professional background is varied. I worked in a private assistant chef position in the states, it was a great experience considering I am not professionally trained. Having a strong sense & taste for fashion, over a decades worth of experience I worked my way up to being a stylist advisor in retail & working fashion weeks, back home in Aotearoa aka (New Zealand).

What does your typical workday at NATIFS involve?

Creating connections with customers about what the IFL market space is about. The space is a great invitation to discuss many of the issues that indigenous peoples are challenged with and why it is important to cultivate/ educate a mindset not just for ourselves within the company but also the public especially those who are interested or feel as passionately as we do for the change needed.

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
