Jason Garcia (they/them/theirs) is of mixed Mexican and European ancestry, and grew up in Hayward, Wisconsin. After studying English with a Writing emphasis at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, they moved to Minneapolis and have also lived in Milwaukee, WI and Hartford, CT. Before joining NĀTIFS, Jason held retail management roles for both large and small organizations, including Kinkos/FedEx Office, Northwestern Health Sciences University, and Elevated Beer*Wine*Spirits.

In their free time, Jason is active with their neighborhood association and with progressive political causes as well as advocating for victims of sexual violence. For fun, they enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, canoeing, and spending time with their son Jacob.
