Position:
This is a part-time position estimated at 24 hours per week. The IT Support Specialist is responsible for performing IT and website support duties and related problem solving using demonstrated desktop IT and website management skills, good judgment, and initiative. The IT Support Specialist ensures the rigorous application of information security and information assurance policies, principles, and practices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain defined processes and practices to manage systems, software, and networks to ensure consistent and reliable operation to meet the business needs
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues
- Maintain reliability of systems and networks by monitoring, running tests, and troubleshooting
- Create and maintain recovery plans for all critical functions
- Install, configure, maintain, upgrade, and support systems, networks, and software
- Develop plans for deployment of new systems
- Monitor security vulnerabilities for installed systems; implement response plan for various types of threats and attacks
- Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade the organization’s website
- Respond to and troubleshooting all website issues
- Ensure the website is protected by enabling the appropriate security measures
- Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly
- Conduct content audits to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information
- Ensure full compliance on the website with all laws and regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Ability:
- English speaking with knowledge of Spanish or Indigenous language value
- Exceptional organization and communication skills
- Experience collaborating with and accepting feedback from other departments
- Problem solving skills (including ability to handle stressful situations in a professional manner)
- Demonstrable proficiency with Google Workspace
- Demonstrable proficiency in WordPress and website design and website maintenance, both on a daily level and for larger website-related projects
- Understanding of HTML, CSS etc., as needed
- Expertise in design, graphics and layout related to websites
- Possess web writing and design skills
- Experience uploading and formatting non-text content such as photographs for the web
- Salesforce experience a plus
- Inventory management and recipe costing software experience a plus

- Employee contribution to 403(b) at 1% or more of salary is matched with 3% of salary employer contribution
